The PWNCLA will be hosting a summer webinar, “Anxiety in the medical setting: Evidence-based treatment for coping with needle procedures”. The webinar is scheduled for August 4, 2021 from 11 am -12:30pm.
This webinar will include a comprehensive look at the phenomenology, risk and maintenance factors of anxiety disorders among youth from early childhood through teen years. The presenter will also discuss evidence-based interventions for anxiety and its application for coping with needle procedures. Lastly, the presenter will explore strategies for collaborative and cross-disciplinary care for patients with needle fears.
