It was a great training and the CCLSs and CLS students who attended are now in the process of finalizing paperwork to complete their certification to deploy to local, regional, and national disasters. Volunteers will respond to natural and man-made disasters to set up child care centers to help children process disasters through play. Many thanks to our instructors Katie and Kathy from Child Life Disaster Relief and Children’s Disaster Services for running the class. We also want to thank the American Red Cross of Seattle for donating their space.
